KRESDA was established to promote the advancement and specialization of the Korean real estate market by disseminating advanced educational programs in Korea for systematic research and education on real estate brokerage and service industries, to contribute to the establishment of a sound and ethical brokerage culture, and to enhance the pride and status of its members. Its main business is the US Real Estate CEO Course (CRS).
CRS (Certified Residential Specialist)
This is the highest real estate professional certification in the United States, hosted by the U.S. Residential Real Estate Council (RRC) and organized by the Korea Real Estate Service Development Association (KRESDA).
The RRC is a residential real estate association founded in 1976 with 28,000 members (as of 2020). According to the RRC Edge Fact Sheet, brokers with a CRS earn twice as much as regular brokers.
As part of the CRS curriculum, students will take the REAP program, which consists of four subjects: business planning, marketing, negotiation strategies, and customer service, which contain globally applicable systems and strategies.
