The results of the 36th Certified Real Estate Agent Exam will soon be announced. It's a time when many new agents will be taking their first steps into the market. While excitement and anxiety may coexist, the experiences of experienced agents demonstrate that "everyone faces challenges at first, but eventually, the path becomes clear." Therefore, we'll share the story of a new agent at Remax adapting to the real world. This is a true story of how growth is possible even if you start late.

There is no such thing as an easy contract.

Remax Meister agent Choi Hyun-mi is a rookie agent who entered the real estate industry late in life, having sent two children to college. Her first step was learning. Through FireUp, Max Training, and one-on-one coaching, she learned the basics and gained the confidence that "we can grow together, not alone."

In practice, she personally researched the market, walking tens of thousands of steps a day, and even secured unlisted listings, creating opportunities. However, her first attempt was thwarted by insufficient tenant data and connection speed. Through this experience, she learned firsthand the power of data and the importance of speed.

After the failure, the strategy changed. By focusing on securing tenants and building trust, inquiries increased and relationships with landlords became closer. This trust, built through these efforts, led to a first contract that satisfied the landlord, tenant, and real estate agent. It was a moment when I first-hand experienced Remax's "Everybody Wins" philosophy.

She has now grown to the point where she can handle projects to expand overseas franchises into Korea. While a contract fell through at the last minute, she says, "If you don't give up, opportunities will come again." What has fueled her growth has been Remax's training, advice from senior colleagues, and its team-oriented culture. Her adage, "Remax is not a brand, but a team that grows together," is a testament to her conviction that the past six months have proven this.

Remax Korea continues to support the challenges of newcomers who forge their own paths. Just because the beginning is difficult doesn't mean the end is difficult. Those who start will inevitably grow.
