In November, a REMAX Hawai'i delegation visited Korea. This visit was attended by Myron Kiriu, CEO and a prominent figure in the Hawaiian real estate industry, and Sue Jo, a Korean-American real estate agent. They discussed ways to strengthen global partnerships with REMAX Korea.

Myron Kiriu, CEO, has a solid track record, having studied finance at UC Berkeley and begun his career as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). With over 20 years of experience in the Hawaii residential real estate market, he has established himself as a leading local expert. Previously operating under the Better Homes and Gardens brand, he transitioned to RE/MAX in August of this year. This strategic decision stemmed from his appreciation for RE/MAX's global expansion strategy and the value of its network.

Currently, Myron serves as a Mega Broker Owner, leading 170 agents across six offices in Hawaii. He leads the organization, the first in the United States to receive a state-wide license from RE/MAX headquarters, demonstrating his significant presence. With four additional offices in Hawaii under preparation, the company's market presence is expected to expand even further.

Sue Jo, an agent who also visited Korea, started her real estate career under Myron and recently grew into an independent real estate agent. A Korean realtor with exceptional market knowledge, client communication skills, and meticulous property analysis, she is recognized as a trusted expert in Hawaii.

This visit featured an in-depth briefing on a variety of topics, including the Hawaiian market structure, global customer movement patterns, and the U.S. and Hawaiian tax environment. Representatives and agents from various franchise companies also attended, actively engaging in a Q&A session with the visiting group, leading to lively discussions on the spot.

Although the delegation comprised professionals leading large organizations, they consistently impressed attendees with their easygoing yet serious demeanor. Even at the dinner, natural and candid conversations continued, solidifying the partnership between the two organizations despite the short time spent together.

At the event, agent Cho Yeon-soo was officially awarded the "REMAX AMBASSADOR" certificate. The appointment of a Korean-American realtor as an official ambassador in Hawaii is significant, and she will serve as a vital bridge between Korea and Hawaii.

When Koreans purchase real estate in Hawaii or another country or prepare to move, understanding not only domestic procedures but also local systems, customs, and practices is essential. Therefore, both domestic and overseas experts are needed to handle the process.

Remax boasts a global workforce of certified international real estate agents and multilingual professionals. With over 9,000 offices in 110 countries, Remax boasts a network that enables immediate collaboration in most countries. Furthermore, its collaboration with specialized partners in various fields, including immigration, relocation, legal affairs, and taxation, offers a one-stop service, a key strength. For those considering overseas real estate transactions and relocation, Remax's global network is the most reliable option.

Remax Korea plans to continue strengthening its strategic partnerships with the global Remax network to provide Korean customers with more professional and reliable overseas real estate services.
