Remax X Korea Cyber University... Building an industry-academia cooperation model that connects brokerage sites with education.

The MOU signing ceremony held at Remax Korea headquarters.

Remax Korea has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Korea Cyber University to foster real estate professionals. This agreement aims to connect the practical skills required in the real estate brokerage industry with systematic higher education, offering expanded growth paths for both real estate professionals and aspiring professionals.

Professor Kim Hyun-hoe (Director of the Urban Real Estate Research Institute) of the Department of Real Estate Finance and Asset Management at Korea Cyber University attended the signing ceremony and discussed the direction of cooperation and future development plans between the two institutions. Both organizations plan to actively leverage their respective educational content and field experience to collaborate closely on educational programs and seminars, creating tangible synergy.

Remax Korea has consistently strengthened its practical training system, leveraging the global REMAX network. This step-by-step training structure, encompassing basic sales training, commercial real estate practice, regular training, and online learning, is designed to help both new and experienced agents develop their competitive edge in the field.

Korea Open Cyber University is a regular four-year university under the Higher Education Act, offering bachelor's degrees at approximately one-third the tuition of traditional universities. It operates online, eliminating in-person classes, minimizing time and space constraints. Its academic exchanges with 86 universities nationwide, along with the largest industry-academia collaboration network, provide high-quality lecture content and practical training. Furthermore, the program focuses on developing practical skills through professional certification courses and a curriculum with high practical application in the field.

A special lecture at Korea Cyber University

The university offers a variety of departments, including the Department of Real Estate Finance and Asset Management, Counseling Psychology, Integrated Therapy, National Defense Counseling Leadership, Childcare, and Beauty and Health Design. Among these, the Department of Real Estate Finance and Asset Management is recognized as a core department, offering systematic training in the theories and practices essential to real estate professionals, including brokerage practice and an understanding of financial structures.

Through this agreement, Remax Network members will receive a tuition discount of 30-501 TP3T for four-year degree programs at Korea Cyber University. They can pursue their bachelor's degree while simultaneously gaining specialized knowledge in real estate. Even those who already hold a bachelor's degree can further strengthen their financial and asset expertise by completing an additional degree in Real Estate Finance and Asset Management.

The two organizations plan to establish a structure that organically connects education and the field through joint training courses, special lectures, and seminars. This is expected to foster a virtuous cycle that supports the long-term growth of real estate agents and enhances the professionalism and competitiveness of the real estate industry as a whole.

With this agreement, Remax Korea plans to expand its educational foundation to enable franchisees and agents to continuously build their capabilities, thereby supporting the sustainable growth of the brokerage industry.
