On February 11, Remax Korea and monthly rent and management fee card payment service company Itchero signed a business agreement (MOU) for cooperation in rental payment services at Remax Korea headquarters.
This agreement was created to create an environment where credit cards can be used to pay for items such as monthly rent, management fees, and food expenses, where the purpose of use is clear and can be objectively documented, and to build a more stable rental payment infrastructure centered on small business owners and monthly rent tenants.
This service allows landlords to pay their monthly rent and management fees by card, with the money transferred to their existing account. If objective documentation, such as a lease agreement or building register, is verified, rental deposits can also be paid by card. The service focuses on items that can be verified, such as management fees and food costs, in addition to monthly rent, thereby enhancing payment security.
In particular, the number of small business owners and monthly renters who want to efficiently manage fixed costs by paying monthly rent and management fees at once is increasing, and as demand for payment considering card benefits expands, the number of foreign users is also gradually increasing.
Through this agreement, Remax Korea plans to link payment services via transfers during the rental transaction process based on its nationwide network of franchisees and agents, and jointly explore collaboration models that can be utilized in practical settings.
The signing ceremony was attended by Remax Korea executives, employees, and affiliates, and CEO Lee Taek-soo personally shared the service's operational direction and future cooperation plans. The two companies plan to use this MOU as a momentum to gradually expand their cooperation in real estate transactions and payments. |
