[Real Estate Information Newspaper]Reporter Seo Jun-ho= The 8th REMAX Asia Pacific Convention, held from July 2 to 5, 2025 at the Shangri-La Hotel in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, has concluded successfully.
This convention was a place where regional owners (Remax headquarters in each country), Remax franchise representatives, and agents from each Asian country gathered to share global real estate strategies and expand the referral network (a system that introduces and connects domestic and international customers).
The REMAX Korea team spent the entire event together to experience the rapidly growing local real estate market and once again confirm REMAX’s brand presence on the Asian stage.
Young population and resource-based growth… 'land of opportunity' Mongolia Mongolia is a country with a vast territory about 15 times that of South Korea and abundant resources such as coal, copper, gold, and rare earth elements. It also has a young population with more than half of the population under the age of 30.
Recently, the Mongolian government has been expanding its scope beyond mining and agriculture to renewable energy, finance, and infrastructure development in order to diversify the economy, and as a result, the Mongolian economy is expected to grow by 7% in 2023, up 2%p from the previous year. Deposit interest rates are also maintained above 10%, creating an environment for domestic and foreign capital inflow.
In line with the dynamic Mongolian economy, urban development centered around Ulaanbaatar is also progressing rapidly amid rapid urbanization. In particular, the new city in which many Korean companies have recently participated resembles the structure of a new city in Korea, and is familiar to domestic consumers to the point that it has been nicknamed “Mongtan New City.”
According to what the REMAX Korea team confirmed on site, the price of an apartment in Ulaanbaatar is about 100 million to 200 million won, which is about one-third of the price in Korea. On the other hand, the average income in Mongolia is one-seventh of that in Korea, so balancing supply and demand in the real estate market and reorganizing the financial system are emerging as key tasks in the future.
This structure is very attractive to foreign investors and is receiving strategic attention due to its high potential for future growth in the real estate market.
Main programs of the convention that focus on global trends and technologies

The convention consisted of the following programs. The main programs of the convention began with a presentation on the current state of Mongolia’s economy and real estate market by the CEO of the Mongolian Stock Exchange, followed by future city development strategies and real estate technology outlook (CEO of Cybertecture), agent recruitment, retention, and monetization strategies, sharing of listing acquisition and sales know-how, and a global broker panel discussion.
In addition, sessions were held to share AI-based real estate operation systems and Asian technology trends, analyze overseas real estate investment opportunities, and have cultural exchange and referral networking sessions for each country. The event concluded with a street tour of Remax Mongolia’s main offices and a welcome dinner and gala reception.
REMAX Korea participated in the entire schedule from the pre-Regional Owner session to the main conference and the Mongolian traditional festival, Naadam, and had a meaningful time accumulating extensive on-site exchanges and market insights.
Impressions and meaning of Remax Korea's participation in the event This event had many meanings for REMAX Korea. First of all, in the Cultural & Referral Exchange session, the culture was introduced through Hanbok and traditional Korean props, which received a great response from the participants, and it won the Best Participating Country award as the most popular country among all participating countries.
In the strategic discussion session with regional owners representing global participating countries, Shin Hee-sung, CEO of REMAX Korea, gave a presentation on ‘Strategic Leadership for Sustainable Growth and Vision Execution.’ He presented a strategic direction for brand growth based on his actual operating experience in the Korean market, and received high praise from REMAX Global Headquarters.
In addition, Ryu Gwan-ha, CEO of REMAX Gold Asset, participated in a session of broker owners from each Asian country on the topic of 'The Role of Broker Owners for Agent Success', sharing domestic operating cases and experiences in producing top producers, drawing much attention. Above all, this convention was an opportunity to examine and specify what strategies and systems REMAX needs to have a greater influence in Korea.

Mongolian real estate market, Now is the time to advance The Mongolian real estate market is in its early stages of global entry, and its rapid growth potential based on urbanization and resource development presents attractive opportunities for international investors. Currently, Remax is rapidly expanding its franchise offices throughout Mongolia, and local franchisees are establishing operating methods that reflect Mongolia's local characteristics based on a global system.
REMAX Korea plans to use this visit as an opportunity to continue practical business cooperation with domestic companies, brokers, and investors interested in advancing into the Mongolian real estate market. If you are planning to enter the local Mongolian real estate market, you can receive practical advice, including specific investment information, partnership connections, and procedural guidance, through REMAX Korea. 🔗brokerage success Strategy seminar(7month25Day)
