The RE/MAX R4 Convention, a global event hosted by the world's largest real estate franchise RE/MAX, was held successfully in Las Vegas, USA. It was a place where approximately 140,000 RE/MAX franchisees and brokers from 110 countries around the world gathered to share the latest real estate trends and expand their business networks. This convention featured lectures and panel discussions on the flow of the global real estate market, networking for practical business collaboration, and an awards ceremony for RE/MAX members who achieved the best results. In particular, Korean RE/MAX members were recognized for their outstanding performance at the international awards ceremony, proving their competitiveness in the global market.
Global insights in one place! Core Sessions of the R4 Convention
The convention began before the official schedule with Remax leaders from each country gathering to share their country’s status. This year’s ‘Remax Regional (Asia)’ winner went to Australia, receiving congratulations from everyone.
The opening session featured industry leaders including Remax founder Dave Rieneger, Netflix co-founder Marc Randolph, and real estate coaching expert Brian Buffini giving presentations on the changing global real estate market and strategies for success.
In addition, the event also unveiled MakTech, a new Remax technology platform. It was upgraded from the existing KV Core to BoldTrail, and AI-based smart real estate services were introduced. It was emphasized that securing competitiveness by utilizing digital technology and AI is essential in the changing real estate market.
Korean Remax, recognized on the world stage
At this year’s R4 Convention, Korean Remax members demonstrated their outstanding achievements by winning the Hall of Fame, Titan Club Award, and 100% Club Award. In particular, the Hall of Fame is an award given to agents who have achieved over $1 million in cumulative commissions, and a total of 11 recipients were born in Korea this year, including 3 new recipients.
In addition to the awards, Korea Remax also received attention at the global networking event, 'Global Referral Exchange'. This session is a place where Remax brokers from each country can communicate directly and find collaboration opportunities. In fact, Korean Remax members have had specific discussions with Remax members from each country about sharing properties, investment collaboration, etc., further opening up the possibility of global business expansion.
At the Korean Remax booth, a strategy of naturally forming a network was developed by offering Korea's representative snack, 'Dalgona'. It received a greater response than expected and attracted many visitors, which led to more active networking with global Remax members who were interested in the Korean market.

During the convention, the Korean RE/MAX team visited the RE/MAX Reliance franchise located in Las Vegas, USA.
Remax Reliance is a Remax franchise that is active in Nevada and surrounding areas in the United States, and is prominent in residential as well as commercial real estate transactions. Through meetings with local Remax franchise representatives and brokers, we had the opportunity to learn about the latest trends in the US real estate market and compare the differences with Korea.
In particular, it was a place where we could deeply understand the differences between the US and domestic markets, with explanations of US real estate brokerage processes and marketing strategies, agent profit models, etc. In addition, we discussed the possibility of activating the actual referral business between Korea and the US, and set the direction for future cooperation.
