After posting properties on online trading platforms, fraudsters are exploiting Remax's high brand recognition by presenting fake Remax business cards and pretending to be legitimate brokers, inducing buyers to send money under the pretext of a "down payment" or "reservation deposit," before cutting off contact and disappearing.

Based on its credibility as a global brand, Remax operates a verification system that allows real-name verification of franchisees and agents through its official website. Information on new and retired employees is also managed in real time. If you sense anything unusual during a transaction, please stop the transaction immediately and report it to the Cyber Investigation Bureau of the National Police Agency at 182 or your local police station.
