Remax Korea, a building sales and rental company, and Iambox, a self-storage company, signed a business cooperation (MOU) on the 30th to resolve vacancies for building owners. By securing a warehouse for storing goods in the basement of an empty building, IAMBOX will increase its franchises and Remax Korea will increase the value of its customers' buildings, thereby creating a win-win situation.

Both companies plan to propose the use of self-storage to building owners, especially in vulnerable areas in terms of rental, such as underground spaces. Shin Hee-seong, CEO of Remax Korea, said, "Due to the slump in the commercial market, there is a shortage of content that can be properly placed in the basement space of buildings. By adding self-storage, building owners can use the building cost-effectively, such as receiving rent at a minimum cost, and the value of the building is increased by reducing vacancy." “We can increase it,” he said.

Lee Hak-gu, CEO of Iambox's strategic division, also said, "If single-person households store goods in a nearby warehouse, they can utilize their living space more widely, so the demand for self-storage is increasing." He added, "In order to secure warehouses for storing goods, there is an increasing demand for “I am looking for various vacant spaces,” he emphasized.

IAMBOX is a real estate startup that solves building vacancy problems and housing problems experienced by residents of the metropolitan area, contributing to the return on investment and increase in asset value by utilizing ICT technology.
