The Korea Campground Association (Chairman Kim Gwang-hee) and RE/MAX Korea (Remax Korea, CEO Shin Hee-sung) held a business agreement (MOU) signing ceremony at 1:00 PM on the 8th in the conference room of the global real estate brand Remax Korea headquarters.

This agreement is the first step toward private-sector cooperation for the domestic and international expansion of K-camping, systematization of campsite real estate distribution, and establishment of a foundation for camping industry startups and investment, and seeks practical connections between the camping industry and the real estate industry.

From Remax Korea, CEO Shin Hee-sung and other executives and staff members attended, while Park Joo-hyun, CEO and executives of Remax Able (located in Daegu Metropolitan City), who will serve as the actual point of contact between the Remax organization and the association after the agreement, were also present.

From the association side, Chairman Kim Gwang-hee, Secretary General Kang Myeong-hun, K-Camping Promotion Committee Chairman Hong Gyu-seon (professor at Dong Seoul University), Tax Advisor Baek Gi-hyeon (CEO of Save Tax VIP Branch), and Camping Industry Committee Vice Chairman Lee Si-hyeong (CEO of Stage) attended and discussed practical cooperation plans.

Secretary General Kang Myeong-hun said, “Through this agreement, we will strengthen the reliability and expertise of the campsite real estate distribution market and create a structure that can provide accurate information and practical support to those in the camping industry.” He also expressed his aspirations by saying, “The cooperation with Remax Korea will be an opportunity for K-camping to leap beyond simple cultural content and become a future industry that combines a startup and investment foundation.”

Shin Hee-sung, CEO of Remax Korea, said, “The camping industry is very closely related to real estate, and we expect that this agreement will maximize the synergy between the two industries,” and Park Joo-hyun, CEO of Remax Able, said, “I feel a sense of responsibility to serve as a bridge for practical cooperation at this important time when the camping and real estate industries can grow together. We will reflect the voices from the field and promote the development of both companies.”

The association is currently promoting 'Camp 5.0', which was announced this year as an implementation strategy to achieve the goals of K-Camping. With this agreement, it will solidify the foundation for cooperation for providing accurate information on approximately 4,000 campsites nationwide, activating distribution, and systematically managing the camping industry ecosystem.

Meanwhile, Remax is a global real estate brand with over 9,000 branch offices and 145,000 agents in over 110 countries around the world. Remax Korea plans to focus on increasing the transparency and distribution efficiency of campsite transactions based on its nationwide real estate network and global infrastructure.
