Global real estate franchise Remax Korea (hereinafter Remax Korea) and hotel development and operation specialist AZMT Co., Ltd. (hereinafter AZMT) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for mutual cooperation at Remax Korea headquarters on November 6.

This agreement was established to jointly pursue development, brand operation, investment, and global expansion of small and medium-sized hotels and living properties by remodeling aging buildings or vacant spaces amidst the revitalization of the tourism industry and increasing demand for accommodations.

In particular, with the K-culture craze and the increase in foreign tourists exacerbating the shortage of accommodations, the development of accommodation-type real estate utilizing existing buildings is emerging as a new investment alternative.

Combining global networks and hotel operation expertise

Remax Korea is a global real estate franchise brand with a global network spanning over 110 countries, 40 franchise stores nationwide, and over 400 agents.

Through our network of franchisees and agents in each region, we identify suitable properties and connect them with investors and accommodation operation partners. We also offer a variety of business opportunities, including securing long-term tenants after remodeling or reselling properties.

About 10 people, including representatives and agents of Remax franchisees, attended the signing ceremony, demonstrating great interest in the cooperation between the two companies.

AZMT specializes in hotel planning and operation, directly handling the entire process, from remodeling consulting to brand planning, operational system development, and ICT-based management. Its strength lies in providing comprehensive solutions that enhance operational efficiency and maximize profits for accommodations.

Through this agreement, the two companies will combine their real estate transaction networks and accommodation operation expertise to establish a collaborative model for converting aging buildings into income-generating accommodation properties. This is expected to inject new vitality into the domestic income-generating real estate market.
