[Seoul Welfare Newspaper = Reporter Woo Mi-ja] The Together for New Hope Association (Chairman Moon Jin-hwan) announced on the 11th that Remax Korea participated in the companion plant making volunteer work.
In line with the 'Global Remax Week' where Remax members around the world volunteer, Remax Korea created companion plants and gave them nicknames for vulnerable groups who are struggling mentally. Companion plants literally mean plants that pair up with people, and the succulent plants used in the activity are excellent for reducing depression, purifying the air, and controlling indoor humidity, helping with psychological stability.
Shin Hee-seong, CEO of Remax Korea, said, “I feel sorry whenever I hear news of vulnerable groups struggling with psychological difficulties,” and added, “I am glad that I can help through this activity. I will continue to actively participate in social contribution activities in the future.”
Moon Jin-hwan, the chairman of the Together for New Hope Foundation, said, “I would like to thank Remax Korea for participating in social contribution activities with warm concern for the vulnerable class,” and added, “We will make sure to convey the precious hearts of our executives and employees to the vulnerable class who are in blind spots.”
Meanwhile, the Together for New Hope Foundation, launched in 2014, is a domestic relief NGO that practices sharing within the country and carries out various activities such as supporting medical expenses for children with rare and incurable diseases and disabilities who are in the blind spot of domestic welfare, providing education and experiential activities for children from low-income families, supporting food and goods for the underprivileged, providing living expenses, and repairing homes for poor households.
