America's 'Real Estate Professional Course' (CRS) has been introduced in Korea.
CRS is a professional certification for experienced real estate agents. Training will begin on June 4th through the online video conferencing system 'Zoom' for a total of 4 days.
This qualification system is hosted by the Residential Real Estate Council (RRC) in the United States. RRC is a residential real estate association established in 1976. The number of members is approximately 28,000 (as of 2020).
The CRS course is hosted by KRESDA (Korea Real Estate Service Development Association) and Soongsil Cyber University Real Estate Research Institute. It is sponsored by Remax and RRC, global real estate companies with the world's largest networks.
Shin Hee-seong, CEO of Remax Korea, said, “As the demand for overseas real estate increases, more expertise is required,” adding, “This certification will be of great help in improving brokerage services and personal development.”
Meanwhile, according to the RRC Edge Fact Sheet, as of December 2021, the income of brokers holding this license is twice as high as that of general brokers.
