On November 7th, the two companies signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MOU) and agreed to jointly pursue the &quot;Hospitality Asset Value-Up Project,&quot; which aims to remodel aging hotels, motels, and officetels in Korea and transform them into new, profitable assets.\u00a0<\/p><p>This agreement is significant because it goes beyond simple renovations and represents a &quot;fusion of real estate and hospitality.&quot; The key is to transform local accommodations into new types of residential properties by combining content and operational systems, in addition to physical improvements to the building. RE\/MAX Korea will leverage its infrastructure, including a nationwide network of approximately 400 licensed real estate agents and RE\/MAX headquarters&#039; 145,000 global agents in over 110 countries, to identify domestic and international hospitality assets and connect investors with buyers.\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">In particular, Remax Korea recently established a &quot;Hospitality Team&quot; to research remodeling and investment models for residential properties, including hotels, resorts, and officetels.
