Cooperation in business such as store discovery for Korean franchises expanding overseas

(Seoul = Yonhap News) Reporter Kim Sang-hoon = Riding the Korean Wave, Korean franchise brands that have entered the overseas market are receiving help from the world's largest real estate franchise company in the process of surveying commercial districts and locations and discovering stores.

The Korea Franchise Industry Association (Chairman Dong-min Cho) signed a business agreement with Remax and Remax Korea, the world's largest real estate franchise companies, to support the globalization of Korean franchise brands.MOU) announced on the 17th that it had signed an agreement.

Under the agreement, the Franchise Association will provide business and investment information for Korean franchise brands seeking to expand globally to the global Remax franchise network and agents through Remax Korea, Remax's Korean master franchise.

In addition, Remax partners from around the world collaborate based on their expertise when conducting overseas market area and location surveys and store discovery for Korean franchise brands hoping to expand overseas. 

Remax operates 6,480 stores in 97 countries around the world and has approximately 94,000 agents.

Larry Overley, Vice President of Global Remax, predicted, “If we actively promote Korean franchise brands on the Remax information network in the future, it will be of great help in the globalization and overseas expansion of Korean franchise brands.” 

Franchise Association Chairman Cho Dong-min pointed out that “there are many cases where Korean franchise brands fail because they do not properly understand their position in the global business,” and asked for active support from global remax operators.
